Personality: Hallgrim is a stickler to the rules. If there is a law that he must follow, he will follow it. It doesn't matter if this rule will get himself, his men, or anyone else killed. An order is an order, no matter who gives it. As a result, he can be quite harsh in his punishments. He also does not see eye-to-eye with his Regent-General, but respects his command (for now). He doesn't seem that nice outside of work either. Bit of an asshole, really.

Character Background: Hallgrim has been doing this for a long time. Long enough to watch the fall and rise of the Regent-Generals. Long enough to see the previous, rule-following, heavy-handed bastard be replaced by his soft son. Even if Amadeus is a great man, great men will fall if they do not have order. He wishes to change this. He does not want to overthrow the man, as he knows he will be executed. But maybe, just maybe, he can force change. Maybe. It will be a long and arduous journey, though that's just what he's looking for.
